Getting Started

Here's how to get started with BKSubscribe. The 'sample' links will open in a new tab.

• If you haven't signed up yet, go here.
• Sign in to your account here. Once you sign up, you'll be taken to the BKSubscribe admin screens for the following tasks.
• Create your first list. Make two lists: a 'general' list (that everyone will get), and a 'test' list just for your email. Make the 'general' list the default list, and ensure both lists are visible. See the sample.
• Add at least one subscriber; assign them to at least one list. We suggest adding your own email as a subscriber to the test list (sample).
• Create a mailing template. This will be your test template (sample).
• Create a mailing. Assign your test template. Assign the template to your test list (sample).
• Preview your template to get it to look how you want (sample).
• If your preview is OK, then send the test mailing. You should get the email to your test subscriber email.
• Open your email that you will receive from BKSubscribe. Then go back to BKSubscribe to see the Tracking (sample).
• On your Account screen, fill in the 'public' fields - these are automatically placed in your emails. See the sample. Note the buttons at the bottom to get your customized Subscribe form. Click one, which will copy your Subscribe URL to your clipboard. Paste it into a new browser window to see what your visitors will use to subscribe to your newsletters (sample here). Enter your own email to see how it all works.
